A video of a GAA supporter attacking another on Hill 16 during yesterday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final has been widely shared on social media.
The young man, who was wearing a Clare jersey, was seen striking out at another unsighted spectator - who was presumably from Kilkenny - narrowly missing a young female Kilkenny supporter in the process.
The incident comes a week after footage of a separate altercation between Armagh and Monaghan fans during the All-Ireland SFC quarter-final went viral. It prompted a warning from the GAA that Hill 16 could become a seated area to ensure there is no repeat of the fighting which broke out on the famous Croke Park terrace.
