'Clash of champions' in Monaghan SFC opener

Ballybay will begin the defence of their Monaghan SFC crown against lat year's intermediate champions Corduff.
The two were pitted against each other in Monday night’s SFC draw. Aughnamullen, Latton and Truagh are also in the same group.
The other group looks stronger on paper with last year’s runners-up Scotstown being drawn with current Division 1 League leaders Inniskeen, Magheracloone, Donaghmoyne and Clontibret.
The race for the Mick Duffy Cup gets underway on the weekend of August 11-13.
