GAAGO has apologised for losses of signal during its coverage of three big games yesterday.
The GAA's controversial streaming service was impacted by the thunder and lightning which affected many parts of the country. Viewers of the the Tipperary v Offaly All-Ireland SHC preliminary quarter-final, the Tailteann Cup quarter-final between Cavan and Down, and the All-Ireland SFC clash between Donegal and Monaghan experienced loss of picture caused by the inclement weather.
In the hurling game, coverage dropped in the 63rd minute and didn't return until after the final whistle when Tipperary's hattrick hero Mark Kehoe was presented with his Man of the Match award.
We apologise for loss of signal on the Offaly and Tipperary game. This is due to adverse weather conditions at the game venue. Our technicians are working to resolve the issue.
