Kieran Molloy made his comeback from a cruciate ligament injury last night.
The Galway star came off the bench for Corofin in their 1-14 to 2-5 Division 1 League semi-final victory over St Michael's in Corofin. It was his first game since suffering the dreaded injury during a club game against Tuam Stars last September and came just a few weeks after he had lined out for Galway in their All-Ireland SFC final defeat to Kerry.
While Molloy won't feature for the Tribesmen this year, his return to fitness is a boost for Padraic Joyce's side ahead of the 2024 campaign.
