Mikey Butler’s first ever championship goal was a timely one as it surged Kilkenny in front early in the second-half of the Leinster SHC final.
With the sides inseparable after the first 35 minutes at Croke Park, this fantastic strike from Butler (see it below) came four minutes into the restart and surged the holders into a 3-11 to 1-14 lead.
From there, Derek Lyng’s men would go on to open up an eight-point lead.
