Team captain Sean O’Donoghue is set for his first appearance in a Cork jersey in this year's championship when the Rebels take on Clare in Sunday's Munster SHC fourth round clash in Ennis (2pm).

The Inniscarra clubman has had a luckless run of injuries so far in the campaign but has been named at left corner-back for the trip to Cusack Park.

All in all, there are four changes to the side which drew with Tipperary last time out, with manager Pat Ryan bringing Luke Meade, Conor Cahalane and Conor Lehane into his attack.

Ger Millerick, Eoin Downey and Shane Barrett are the players that drop to the bench, with a hamstring injury ruling Robbie O’Flynn out of the showdown with the Banner men.

Cork (Munster SHC v Clare): Patrick Collins; Niall O’Leary, Damien Cahalane, Sean O’Donoghue; Tommy O’Connell, Ciaran Joyce, Robert Downey; Brian Roche, Darragh Fitzgibbon; Declan Dalton, Seamus Harnedy, Luke Meade; Conor Cahalane, Patrick Horgan, Conor Lehane

Subs: Ger Collins, Ger Millerick, Eoin Downey, Tim O’Mahoney, Ethan Twomey, Padraig Power, Alan Cadogan, Shane Kingston, Sean Twomey, Shane Barrett, Brian Hayes.
