Steven O’Brien has been named in Tipperary’s starting line-up for Sunday’s Munster senior football championship quarter-final clash against Waterford.
O’Brien has not featured for the Premier men since suffering a recurrence of a hamstring injury in the league defeat to Cavan in first week of February.
Tipp were winless through their Allianz League campaign and it resulted in their relegation back to Division 4.
However, manager David Power has received a welcome boost in the form of O’Brien’s return, having lost All-Star forward and captain Conor Sweeney for the season due to a cruciate injury.
Throw-in at Semple Stadium is at 2pm.
