Sligo grabbed a sorely needed goal before half-time to keep themselves within two points of Wicklow at the break in this evening’s Allianz FL Division 4 final.

Oisin McConville’s side made an electric start at Croke Park to lead by 0-4 to 0-0 and were dictating terms before this brilliant run by Nathan Mullen ended with Niall Murphy flicking to the net (see it below) just shy of the half-hour mark.

Despite the goal, it was the Garden men that carried in a 0-8 to 1-3 lead at the half.
