Robbie O’Flynn is expected to miss the rest of Cork’s Allianz Hurling League campaign after dislocating his ankle during last Saturday night’s win over Limerick.
The Erin’s Own attacker was stretchered off in the closing stages of the Rebels’ thrilling one-point victory at Páirc Uí Chaoimh. The stoppage caused by the injury resulted in 10 minutes of added time being played.
Cork are hopeful that O’Flynn – who scored their first goal against the All-Ireland champions and set up another for Declan Dalton – will be back to full fitness for the championship.
