Meath football kingpins Ratoath have moved quickly to fill their managerial void by announcing the appointment of Kevin Reilly over the weekend.
The former Meath full back replaces David Brady who stepped down just before Christmas after guiding the Dublin-border club to a Keegan Cup success and a Leinster club SFC semi-final appearance against The Downs. The ex-Mayo midfielder spent just one season at the Ratoath helm.
Navan O’Mahonys clubman Reilly made a big impact during his time in charge of Trim, leading them to a Meath IFC title in 2021. They went on to reach the All-Ireland club IFC final this time last year, only to lose to Derry city outfit Steelstown at Croke Park. Reilly surprisingly departed the Reds after they reached the knockout stages of the Meath SFC in their first year back in the top flight.
TweetRatoath GAA would like to announce Kevin Reilly as our senior football manager. We would like to wish Kevin and his management team the very best for the 2023 season.
