Mayo ladies football star Sarah Rowe has joined A-League Women’s club Melbourne Victory.
The 27-year-old has been signed as an injury replacement by the Melbourne club, making her debut as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Perth Glory just hours after putting pen to paper.
Rowe has spent the last five seasons playing with side Collingwood and her new soccer commitments are not expected to clash with the AFLW season which commences later this year.
The Mayo ace previously played with Shelbourne FC and represented Ireland at underage level and featured for the senior team back in 2015.
