Former Kilcoo joint-manager Conleith Gilligan has taken the reins of Tyrone side Edendork for the 2023 season.

Both Gilligan and Richard Thorton departed the Magpies last month following their team’s Ulster club SFC final defeat to Glen.

Now former Derry star Gilligan has taken on a new role which will see him looking to guide Edendork back to the Tyrone IFC final which they lost out to Galbally Pearses in by a single point this past October.

Included in the Dungannon club’s ranks are 2021 All-Ireland winning trio Darren McCurry, Niall Morgan and Conn Kilpatrick and their fellow clubman Justin Corr is set to act as assistant to Gilligan.
