In what is surely up there with the shortest reigns for a club manager, former Offaly and Westmeath supremo Pat Flanagan has left Ballinabrackey after just four days in charge according to the Meath club.
‘The Bracks’ posted on social media last night to air its disappointment at the news that its new senior football manager Flanagan had departed his new role “only 4 four days in the job after meeting the players and executives to finalise the coming year.”
Things took another twist as Sarsfields GAA in Kildare also announced yesterday that Flanagan would be taking charge of their footballers for the 2023 season, with John Doran as senior team trainer, and wished both men the very best for the upcoming season.
It seems its now back to the drawing board for Ballinabrackey as they are back on the look out for a new senior team manager for the forthcoming campaign.
TweetBallinabrackey GAA wish to note its disappointment in the news that our manager for 2023, Pat Flanagan lasted only 4 days in the job after meeting the players and executives to finalise the coming year.
