Ó Laoi swaps Croke Park for Oz

Galway footballer Finnian Ó Laoi has relocated to Melbourne just six months after playing in the All-Ireland SFC final.

The An Spidéal clubman came on a sub in both the All-Ireland final final against Kerry and the semi-final against Derry. His transfer to Garryowen GAC was approved over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Galway captain Sean Kelly has been named as the Galway Footballer of the Year, while his club Moycullen have been honoured with the Club of the Year Award following their recent county and Connacht triumphs.
