Wayne Quillinan has been ratified as the new Kerry minor football manager.
He takes over from James Costello who had been in charge for the past four years. Quillinan's backroom team includes Seamus O’Dowd (Dingle), David Heasman (Milltown/Castlemaine) and Niall O’Mahony (Spa).
After guiding Austin Stacks to the Kerry SFC title last year, Quillinan's charges were dethroned by Feale Rangers after extra-time in last Saturday night's quarter-final. The defeat leaves Shamrocks facing a relegation playoff against Kenmare Shamrocks on Sunday week.
TweetCongrats to Wayne Quillinan who was tonight ratified as the Minor Football Manager. He will be joined by Seamus O’Dowd (Dingle) David Heasman (Milltown/Castlemaine) & Niall O’Mahony (Spa). Sincere thanks to James Costello for his great service to the Minors over the last 4 years
