Slaughtneil will face holders Watty Graham's, Glen in the 2022 Derry SFC final.
Malachy O'Rourke's Glen advanced back into the decider thanks to a dominant second-half display against Newbridge on Saturday. Dessie McGrogan's point left Sean O'Leary's just two adrift at the break (0-5 to 0-3), but they were overwhelmed after the restart, as Watty Graham's outscored them 2-7 to 0-1.
In the other semi-final at Owenbeg yesterday, goals from Eamon McGill and Niall Toner boosted Lavey into a 0-4 to 2-2 lead after 24 minutes but Slaughtneil overcame that slow start to record an impressive 2-12 to 2-4 win. Christopher Bradley and substitute Shea Cassidy netted for the Robert Emmets late on.
Meanwhile, former Derry All-Star Paddy Bradley has guided his native Glenullin to the county IFC final after a 1-6 to 1-4 victory over Castledawson. Bradley's brother Eoin scored 1-2 for the 'Glen'.
