Cuala recovered from a seven-point deficit to overcome Ballyboden St Enda's (2-23 to 2-17) and book their place in the Dublin SHC semi-finals.
Goals in either half from Conal Keaney, who sent off on a second yellow card late on, and Niall McMorrow had 'Boden seemingly in control at Parnell Park this evening, and a Stephen O'Connor point put them 0-18 to 2-17 in front with 10 minutes of normal-time remaining, but remarkably they wouldn't score again as Mark Schutte's major moments later kickstarted Cuala's revival. Sean Moran followed up with a second goal, and suddenly, the Dalkey side led by a point.
'Boden were 0-14 to 2-15 clear on 40 minutes, but fell apart when Cuala put it up to them down the home stretch. John Twomey's side sensationally outscored them by 2-5 to 0-0 from the 50th minute onwards.
Lucan Sarsfields will face Ballyboden St Enda's in the quarter-finals after they beat St Brigid's 2-17 to 1-11 at O'Toole Park.
Holders Kilmacud Crokes also qualify directly for the last four as they saw off St Vincent's by 2-25 to 3-18 to make it five wins from five outings.
The other quarter-final sees St Vincent's meet Na Fianna, who were 2-15 to 1-16 winners over St Oliver Plunkett's Eoghan Ruadh.
