Tipp camogie great Kennedy takes Offaly reins

Offaly senior camogie manager Noelle Kennedy
Noelle Kennedy has been appointed as the new Offaly camogie manager.
The Toomevara woman won five All-Ireland senior titles as a player with Tipperary in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2004, and takes over from former Galway star Susan Earner as the Faithful prepare for their first campaign outside the top flight in 12 years.
The midlanders have lost several key players in recent times, most notably former All-Star Michaela Morkan, but are nevertheless hopeful of bouncing back from this year’s senior relegation final defeat to Clare.
“We would like to wish Noelle and her backroom team the very best of luck,” Offaly Camogie said in a statement.
