Colm Collins will take charge of the Clare senior football team for a 10th successive season in 2023.

His reappointment at last night's county board meeting makes him the long-serving inter-county manager in either code following Brian Cody's recently departure as Kilkenny hurling boss.

The Kilmihil native led the Banner County to an All-Ireland SFC quarter-final this summer against Derry, having earlier retained their Allianz League Division 2 status. His selectors will be announced at a later date.

Also at last night's meeting, Michael Neylon was reappointed U20 football manager, while Brian O Connell was returned as Clare minor hurling manager.
