Doon joined Kilmallock and Na Piarsaigh at the top of the Limerick SHC Group A table after smashing five goals past Ahane in yesterday evening's clash at Cappamore.

Pat Ryan, Dean Coleman (2), Barry Murphy and Darragh Stapleton all hit the net for Tadhg Hayes' side in a convincing 5-14 to 0-13 victory. The runaway winners had led by 2-7 to 0-6 at half-time. 

The third round of action began on Thursday evening when reigning champions Kilmallock dished out a 3-26 to 0-17 beating to Adare at Ballyagran. Limerick senior panelllist Oisin O'Reilly helped himself to 2-4.

Na Piarsaigh, who are the only unbeaten side in the top tier, will face Patrickswell in Killmallock this evening.

In Group B, leaders Ballybrown meet Kildimo-Pallaskenry, Blackrock take on South Liberties (both today) and Garryspillane entertain Mungret St Paul's (tomorrow).
