There was late drama in the Dublin senior football championship earlier today as a goal from Cormac Costello in the seventh minute of injury-time led Whitehall Colmcille to victory over Castleknock.

Having hit the net themselves with four minutes of normal time remaining at Parnell Park, Castleknock looked to be on course for victory as they carried a three-point lead into injury-time.

However, their opponents got back within a point and this late free in effort of an equaliser from Dublin star Costello, who finished with 1-8, somehow ended up in the back of the net to seal the 3-16 to 3-14 victory for Whitehall Colmcille.
