Austin Gleeson has been named among the substitutes for Waterford’s Munster SHC opener against Tipperary tomorrow afternoon at Walsh Park.
The Deise men start with the same team which defeated Cork in the Allianz League final earlier this month and, having been suspended for the Division decider in Thurles, it means Gleeson has to be content with a place on the bench.
Iarlaith Daly and Jamie Barron are also substitutes for Tipp’s visit while Darragh Lyons and Calum Lyons are named to start at centre-field and top-scorer Stephen Bennett leading the line from full-forward
Throw-in is at 2pm.
Waterford (Munster SHC v Tipperary): Shaun O'Brien; Conor Gleeson, Conor Prunty, Shane McNulty; Jack Fagan, Tadhg de Burca, Carthach Daly; Darragh Lyons, Calum Lyons; Neil Montgomery, Jack Prendergast, Patrick Curran; Dessie Hutchinson, Stephen Bennett, Michael Kiely.
Subs: Billy Nolan, Iarlaith Daly, Billy Power, Shane Bennett, Pauric Mahony, Kieran Bennett, Michael Harney, Tom Barron, Peter Hogan, Jamie Barron, Austin Gleeson.
