Leitrim will be without star forward Keith Beirne for their Connacht SFC quarter-final against London on Sunday week after he was hit with a one-match ban.

Beirne was issued with a straight red card by Laois referee Seamus Mulhare for an off-the-ball incident during Leitrim's 2-10 to 2-16 Allianz Football League Division 4 last round defeat to neighbours Sligo last Sunday week.

The Mohill clubman was Leitrim's top-scorer in the Allianz League with 2-44 and his absence will be a big blow ahead of the trip to Ruislip to face a much-improved London side who have already beaten them this year.
