The draw for the 2022 Connacht U20FC has been made.
Old rivals Galway and Mayo will meet in the only quarter-final tie next Wednesday evening, April 6 at the Connacht Centre of Excellence in Bekan. The Connacht U20FC final has been fixed for Wednesday, April 20.
Following Down's 2-13 to 0-7 preliminary round victory over Fermanagh last Friday, the stage is set for the four Ulster U20FC quarter-finals to take place this weekend. On Friday evening, Monaghan welcome Cavan to Inniskeen, Donegal host Armagh in Ballybofey and Derry take on Antrim in Owenbeg. Then on Saturday afternoon, Down will put their provincial crown on the line against Tyrone in Loughmacrory.
Meanwhile, Offaly will begin the defence of their Leinster and All-Ireland titles against Louth in Faithful Fields next Thursday evening, April 6. The other Leinster U20FC first round ties taking place that evening are Wexford v Longford in Parnell Park and Wicklow v Westmeath in Baltinglass.
All U20 games must produce a winner on the day, meaning extra-time and penalties cannot be ruled out.
