Louth are on the brink of promotion from Division 3 of the Allianz Football League after the Wee County ran out 1-12 to 1-8 winners over Antrim in Ardee today.

Wee County captain Sam Mulroy kicked 1-9 to bring his overall tally as the division's top scorer to 3-44 as Mickey Harte's side dominated proceedings from start to finish.

In Mullingar, a 70th minute free from Sean Quigley, who finished with 0-6, rescued Fermanagh a 1-9 to 0-12 draw against Westmeath after David Lynch's first-half goal pushed the hosts into a four-point lead.

Meanwhile at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, Wicklow prevailed over fellow strugglers Longford by 0-20 to 2-13 to pick up their first win of the campaign.
