Clare's Diarmuid Nash sprung a huge upset in Kingscourt yesterday when he defeated four-time champion Robbie McCarthy of Westmeath to land his first All-Ireland 4-Wall senior men's handball title.
Nash, who was runner-up to McCarthy in 2014 and 2019, turned in a massive performance to become the first winner from the Banner County since the legendary Pat Kirby 42 years ago after a tie-break victory
Cork's Catriona Casey claimed the All-Ireland 4-Wall senior ladies final again following a 21-18 21-15 win over Limerick opponent Martina McMahon.
Meanwhile, Cormac Finn (Sligo) and Clodagh Munroe (Tyrone) were crowned All-Ireland 4-Wall minor champions.
