Quinn to lead Longford

Killoe's Michael Quinn will lead the Longford senior footballers in 2022.
The experienced Young Emmets clubman replaces the absent Donal McElligott as the midlanders' captain having made his senior debut in 2012 after a three-year stint in the AFL.
Granard's Darren Gallagher and Mullinalaghta's Patrick Fox will share the role of vice-captain.
Longford begin the new Allianz league Division 3 campaign with Laois man Billy O'Loughlin now at the helm following on from the departure of Padraic Davis last summer.
