Defender David Bruen has been named Leitrim senior football captain by new manager Andy Moran.

Bruen, a member of the Leitrim Gaels club, takes over the captaincy from Fenagh St Caillin's midfielder Donal Wrynn who will now act as vice-captain, and will lead the county in their opening Allianz league Division 4 match against neighbours Cavan at Avant Money Pairc Sean MacDiarmada tomorrow afternoon.
