Limerick's Peter Casey has been cleared to play in the All-Ireland SHC final against Cork.
The Na Piarsaigh forward was successful in having his suspension overturned at a meeting of the Central Hearings Committee tonight (Thursday).
Casey was shown a straight red card during the second-half of last Saturday's semi-final win over Waterford after he had appeared to headbutt Deise opponent Conor Gleeson.
But video evidence cleared him of any wrongdoing and he is now available to line out in the Liam MacCarthy Cup decider on August 22.
Meanwhile, Westmeath's Aaron Craig had his red card from the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 relegation play-off defeat to Laois rescinded following an appeal.
