Tipperary manager Liam Sheedy has led the tributes to retiring star Brendan Maher on his "immense contribution in the dressing room, on the pitch and off the pitch."
The 32-year-old, who made his senior debut in 2009 for the Premier County, has brought the curtain down on his inter-county career after an illustrious 13 seasons that yielded three All-Ireland SHC titles, five Munster SHC titles as well as three All-Star awards.
Immense contribution in the dressing room, on the pitch and off the pitch. Leadership in abundance and a privilege to have managed him at both minor and seniorπππ https://t.co/9MW9Mzh5vq
