Conor Gleeson is held in reserve for Waterford as they prepare to face holders Limerick at Croke Park tomorrow evening in what will be a rematch of the 2020 All-Ireland SHC final.

Manager Liam Cahill has named the same team that defeated his native Tipperary 4-28 to 2-27 after a titantic encounter at Páirc Ui Chaoimh, showing twelve survivors of the side that started the Liam MacCarthy Cup decider nine months ago.

The Nire-Fourmilewater clubman Gleeson will have to be content with a place on the bench for the All-Ireland semi-final as he returns from a one-match suspension, while Iarlaith Daly remains absent through injury.

Waterford (All-Ireland SHC v Limerick): Shaun O'Brien; Ian Kenny, Conor Prunty, Shane McNulty; Calum Lyons, Shane Bennett, Kieran Bennett; Jamie Barron, Peter Hogan; Jack Fagan, Jack Prendergast, Stephen Bennett; Dessie Hutchinson, Austin Gleeson, Patrick Curran.
