Craig comes home

Westmeath's Aaron Craig

Westmeath hurler Aaron Craig has rejoined his native St Oliver Plunkett's from St Anne's in Wexford.

Despite living in Kilmore Quay and working in Newbridge for the past few years, the 29-year-old had continued to travel back and forth to the midlands to represent his home county and has been named at wing back on the Westmeath team to face Kerry in this evening's Joe McDonagh Cup final at Croke Park.

Craig lined out at centre back for St Anne's in their surprise run to the 2019 Wexford SHC final, but has now decided to return to his home club in Mullingar.
