RTE commentator Marty Morrissey proved he still has it in his locker to play for Clare as he showed off his skills as part of the Limerick camogie solo challenge in aid of homeless charity Focus Ireland.
Limerick camogie players from U14 to senior level are soloing across the county within their 5km radius this weekend in an effort to raise much-needed funds for a worthy cause in the fight against homelessness.
Morrissey, who lined out for Clare in both codes during his playing days as a minor, joined in the fun by sharing a video of his own impressive techniques on Twitter:
So I have accepted the challenge from Limerick Camogie & my friends to do the Solo Challenge ! The cheek of them...they think I couldn’t do it 😝 😂 !! It’s in aid of @limerickcamogie & @FocusIreland. Please Support. @jacquihurley @mariecrowe @aoifasheehan pic.twitter.com/LWVWNDZeFf
