Enda Varley has returned to his native Garrymore after plying his footballing club trade with Dublin giants St Vincent's over the past five years.

Varley transferred from Garrymore to the Marino outfit back in 2016 to play football in the capital, where he has been living and working as a teacher, and went on to win Dublin and Leinster SFC titles in his first year. Forming a formidable attacking axis with former Dublin stars Diarmuid Connolly and Mossie Quinn, he helped Vins successfully defend their county crown in 2017.

The veteran forward, who lined out for Mayo in the 2012 and 2013 All-Ireland SFC finals before being surprisingly omitted from the county squad in 2015, will be a huge asset for Garrymore this season.
