Mayo minor footballer Ronan Hughes will feature on Friday night's Late Late Show as part of a campaign by the RTÉ programme to highlight and support small businesses across Ireland.
A fifth year student at Ballinrobe Community School, 17-year-old Ronan set up his own sportswear business called Hughsey Sports during Transition Year, designing jerseys, training wear, socks, shorts and gloves.

After a successful start in business, supplying 100 jerseys for Transition Years, Ronan then came to the aid of his own club minor team at The Neale GAA by sponsoring the side a set with the logo of Hughsey Sports on the front.
The young entrepreneur won a Connacht MFC title with Mayo in 2019 but is missing out on his second year at inter-county minor after the GAA confirmed that only senior inter-county would be allowed to go ahead under Level 5 restrictions.
