Long serving Westmeath club dual-star Paddy Dowdall picked up his 13th county senior championship medal last Sunday and now has another one in his sights.

The 39-year-old lined out at corner-back in St Loman's latest Westmeath SFC final victory over Tyrrellspass at TEG Cusack Park.

This Sunday, the army man will be seeking county senior hurling medal number 9 to go with the five he annexed in football when he takes to the field for Clonkill in the Westmeath SHC final against Castletown-Geoghegan.

Dual player Kelvin Reilly is also bidding to win Westmeath SFC and SHC medals in the space of a week with St Loman's and Clonkill, respectively.
