Last night’s Carlow minor football championship final came down to a penalty shoot-out after extra time couldn’t separate Eire Og and Mount Leinster Rangers.
With the sides deadlocked on 2-13 apiece after 80 minutes, it came down to spot-kicks as Eire Og held their nerve to win out 4-3.
There were some jubilant scenes afterwards at Netwatch Cullen Park.
I won’t be able to sleep after that, what a win pic.twitter.com/oMxyDSA8xE
