Louth GAA are said to have launched an investigation into an alleged spitting incident during an intermediate football championship clash in Darver last Tuesday night.
Videos began circulating on social media on Tuesday night of the flashpoint in the match between St Kevin's and St Brides, which saw the latter win out by 0-11 to 1-6.
The alleged incident which shows a St Kevin's player spitting in the direction of an opponent is understood to have been caught on camera by Louth GAA's streaming service LúTV.
It is understood that the incident was recorded in referee Thomas Brennan’s report and the Louth CCC are now investigating.
