Sadio Mane scored the fastest ever hat-trick in Premier League history at two minutes 56 seconds, but Armagh’s Caroline O’Hanlon bettered that at the weekend. 

The Carrickcruppen captain hit the net three times in just one minute 45 seconds in the Buttercrane Armagh SFC against Dromahill. 

Just turned 36, the evergreen former LGFA Player of the Year scored SIX goals in all and drew praise from manager Mickey Heaney.

‘I keep telling young people to come and watch her play, to see the ultimate professional in an amateur sense. Caroline is out of the ordinary but also a very solid, sound person’.
