Northern Ireland’s Communities Minister Carál Ní Chuilín has today announced the re-opening of the Sports Hardship Fund.

The fund is set to aid sports clubs throughout the six counties which are dealing with the financial impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Initially opened on April 14th, the scheme provided more than £1.2m for over 600 clubs that saw their facilities closed during lockdown.

Clubs will be able to submit their applications on the Sport NI website from today.
