Rhys and Kyle Shelly contributed a combined total of 0-7 for Moycarkey-Borris in their narrow 2-9 to 0-14 win in the Tipperary SFC yesterday.
Dermot Maher's side produced the goods in Clonoulty to ensure a winning start in Group 4 against Eire Og Annacarthy.
Elsewhere on Friday evening, in Group 1, Loughmore-Castleiney had too much firepower for Conor Sweeney's Ballyporeen in Cahir, 1-16 to 1-6.
