Corofin’s Ronan Steede feels that the style of football encouraged by Galway manager Padraic Joyce suits him perfectly.

Midfield dynamo Steede earned the AIB Club Footballer of the Year award for his swashbuckling displays in helping Corofin to a third successive All-Ireland Club SFC title in January and he has been a revelation with the Tribesmen since being handed his intercounty debut by Joyce at the age of 28:

“Padraic likes the attacking play I have as a midfielder - he has that style of football he wants to play,” he told Sky Sports.  “I'm just getting a run of games now and I'm trying to keep in favour and keep the consistency going with Galway.”
