Rebel County netminder Mark White doesn’t subscribe to the theory that Monday morning’s All-Ireland SF qualifier round 4 draw was kind to them.
The defeated Munster finalists were paired with Laois with a place in the Super 8s up for grabs and, speaking to RTE Sport, White wasn't entertaining the suggestion that they got the draw they wanted in the form of the O'Moore County.
“Every team there deserves their spot," he remarked. “We weren't hoping for any team over another; every team is going to be a challenge.
“Looking at Laois, we have identified their point-taking ability from long range. They have the Kingston brothers inside and their back line is well able to carry ball as well.
“We have to try and shut them down and try and put together a performance ourselves.”
