Cork are leaving no stone unturned in their bid to have Seamus Harnedy available for their Munster SHC clash with Tipperary on May 12.
The Rebel County captain was hit with a one-match suspension after being sent off against the Premier County in the league but confusion reigned when it emerged that he would not be able to serve the suspension in their ‘relegation’ play-off with Kilkenny a week later.
Breakingnews.ie reports that secretary Kevin O’Donovan informed delegates at last night’s County Board meeting that they are “100%” pursuing the matter with the powers-that-be.
“We are pursuing all avenues to clarify the situation and to challenge the situation, and to find out the avenue in which we can do both of those.
“It is a little bit complicated at the moment. But if people are wondering are Cork pursuing this matter? 100%, we are.”
