James McCarthy will make his seasonal bow for Dublin against Galway at Croke Park tonight.

The Ballymun Kickhams clubman has recovered from knee surgery to take his place at wing back with Eoin Murchan and Ryan Basquel also coming into the side. Conor Mullally, Paul Flynn and Con O'Callaghan are the players to make way following last Sunday's Allianz Football League first round defeat to Monaghan.

Meanwhile, Evan Comerford continues to deputise in goal for Stephen Cluxton.
