Leitrim selector John O'Mahony is in no doubt that the Division 4 campaign is going to be a tough one for the Connacht side.

Last weekend, Antrim recorded a ten-point victory over Leitrim in the opening round of the NFL campaign and this week, they face another side tipped for promotion in Laois.

O'Mahony admitted to the Leitrim Observer that every game in the division will be tough as there are quality sides vying for promotion.

"It doesn't get any easier next week, it is a tough division," said O'Mahony. "Laois had a big win last night (last Saturday) and the reason they are in Division 4 is their own fault really and it is a big one.

"Look, it is at home, that effort you saw against Antrim, you'll see that next week. It is onwards to Laois, we just have to put the head down and go for it because the fitness levels are good, the effort is good, the commitment is good, but the experience we are lacking in and that is what we have to work on."
