Offaly senior hurling selector Aidan Hanrahan has been ratified as the county's under-21 manager.

The move sees the senior and under-21 management teams work closely together - a situation that the county board were keen to see implemented.

The former county hurler has brought in Jimmy Conway, Pat McIntyre and Ollie Glynn as part of his management team as they begin preparations for the Leinster under-21 championship.

Meanwhile, Offaly senior manager Kevin Martin has added Ballyskenagh native Cathal Murphy as a selector to his management team and he joins Hanrahan and Damien Fox in that role.
