Long-serving Kerry hurling midfielder John Griffin has brought the curtain down on his inter-county career.
The Lixnaw clubman made his debut in 2003 and went on to win two Christy Ring Cup and two National League Division 3 medals. He was team captain in the 2015 Ring Cup final win over Derry. Griffin also represented his country in the shinty/hurling international series in December 2015 and won an All-Ireland junior club football medal with Finuge in 2005 when Eamonn Fitzmaurice and Paul Galvin were among his team-mates.
