Tyrone 2-19
Louth 0-14
Holders Tyrone will face hosts Armagh in the O'Fiaich Cup final next weekend after easing to victory over Louth in Crossmaglen yesterday.
Darren McCurry scored 1-9 (0-6 frees) for the Red Hands to set up a repeat of last year's decider next Sunday. Ronan O'Neill also raised a green flag on a day when Michael Cassidy, Declan McClure, Ruairi Mullan and Cahir McCullagh were handed their senior debuts by Mickey Harte, while Niall McKenna and Conor Clarke returned from long-term injuries.
With McCurry, Cathal McShane and Lee Brennan on target, Tyrone took a 0-10 to 0-6 lead into the break as Jim McEneaney's free-taking kept Louth in it. But the result was in doubt after O'Neill fisted home the opening goal six minutes into the second half.
McCurry completed his tour de force with a clinical finish five minutes from the end.
