A replay will be required to decide the destination of the All-Ireland Masters football title this year.
Extra-time failed to separate Mayo and Cavan into today's final which was played at Kilkerrin-Clonberne in Galway.
The scoreboard read Mayo 0-19, Cavan 1-16 at the referee's final whistle while Donegal got the better of Offaly on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-10 in the Shield final.
